Time for another end-of-(school)year reflection I guess.
Senior year… What and how can I describe this year… (although it’s not quite over yet.)
It was physically draining year. As the Senior Class Secretary, I had to give up a lot of my free time and dedicate my time with the officers. I am glad that I had the opportunity to take this position, but at the same time it was an addition to my stress.
Work-wise. It wasn’t as academically traumatizing as last year, but it was still definitely a lot of work. I just feel like l suffered physically more, than academically. The SATs, college application process, etc., I am so glad I finished all these stuff. It was so hard to juggle ASB, IB work, SATs, and college apps (along with scholarship apps) all at once. I felt like I couldn’t see the light anytime soon. But it was all worth it. I am glad I am able to go to the university I’ve been wanting to go and take on the path I have been wanting to take. I felt like all my hard work has paid off. Like, sincerely, I really thank people who helped me go through this year.
Right now, I am near end of the senior year, with about two weeks left of school. What can I say?… I have to live the life out of the rest of high school. I know I am going to miss high school. I will miss meeting the same people everyday in a small scale classroom, eating lunch with the same people, hanging out with the same people, etc. It would be the only time of my life, the four years of high school, when I truly lived as a free kid.
In the future, I know I won’t have as much free time as now. I heard that I would be struggling much more and would dedicate all my time into school work. I know I am going to struggle, but will it be worth it?
And yes, I will still stan Infinite in college. Idc what people or my family will say. I can’t stop this. I just can’t put away $600+ worth of cds, merchandise, etc., away. I just can’t put away all this hard work and dedication.
